The Top Law Firm was founded by Abraham (Avi) Top in 2005. Specializing in many different sectors of law Avi believed he could offer better law services at a better price. Abraham (Avi) Top is the founder and principal lawyer at The Top Law Firm in Toronto. Avi received a Bachelor's Degree from York University and a law degree from the University of Windsor. He is a member of the Ontario and British Columbia bars. Avi’s journey into law started at a Bay Street law firm while in law school. Shortly after he made the conscious decision to start up his own firm with the idea to offer quality Bay Street advice without the Bay Street cost. He practices in various areas of law, with a large focus on Real Estate Law including advising large lending companies (MIC’S), financial syndicates and large financial groups. Avi has lectured at Universities, lending institutions, and brokerages on a variety of topics including the Art of Negotiation, Fraud in Private Lending and Ethics.

His experience in business and law along with his down-to-earth approach affords him a unique legal perspective on complex matters. Avi's “keep it simple” approach, coupled with his desire to merge digital platforms and quality workmanship, offers something no other law firm can compete with. His desire to improve the client and lender experience has always come before profits which is what sets him and The Top Law Firm team apart from the rest of the industry.

When Avi is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending car shows and playing golf.

Amanda Radford is the managing Lawyer at The Top Law Firm. Amanda’s practice focuses on private lending and purchase/sale transactions including refinances.

Amanda received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor. During law school, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada working on an equity and human rights project to enhance accessibility criteria for the University’s club constitutions. Additionally, Amanda volunteered at the Ontario Court of Justice assisting unrepresented litigants with their legal matters.

Prior to law school, Amanda graduated from Brock University where she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Before joining as an associate lawyer, Amanda was both a summer and articling student at the firm.

Renard Patrick is a seasoned attorney who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his practice, specializing in business law, civil law, real estate law, and family law. After earning his law degree from the prestigious Osgoode Hall Law School, Renard went on to work for civil litigation firms and in-house legal departments, honing his legal skills and building a reputation for delivering personalized, results-driven representation to clients from diverse industries.

With a deep understanding of the complexities of business law, Renard provides expert counsel to businesses on issues such as contract negotiation, shareholder disputes, and employment law. He also has a strong background in civil law and real estate law, having successfully represented clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters, and advising clients on all aspects of real estate transactions.

In addition to his legal expertise, Renard has a passion for family law and is committed to helping families navigate the often-challenging legal issues that arise during divorce, child custody disputes, and other family law matters. He takes a compassionate approach to his work and is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Stefan Avramovic is an associate at The Top Law Firm. His practice primarily focuses on commercial/residential real estate transactions, private mortgage financing, mortgage enforcement and estate administration/planning matters. Stefan is committed to his clients. Open and effective communication is a fundamental element of his practice and the trust he builds. He prides himself on ensuring that each client receives up-to-date legal expertise with effort, care and timeliness at a reasonable cost while using up-to-date technology.

During law school, Stefan received several academic awards including passing with distinction during the 1L Moot Competition and the Nathan Strauss Q.C. Essay Prize in Legal Ethics. While pursuing his legal education, he also volunteered at Pro Bono Students Canada where he assisted low-income families in the Greater Toronto Area obtain legal assistance.

Outside of the office, Stefan enjoys spending time with his wife and son. In his spare time, you will most likely find him on the soccer pitch as he coaches youth soccer and plays in the Canadian Soccer League.

Allan Ng is the Director of Business Operations at Top Law Firm. His expertise is focused on business operations and client development in our Real Estate and Private Lending Group. Growing up in real estate development and the property management industries has allowed him to understand the business at a very young age.

Allan has over 20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies in business and client relationship capacity roles. His background has always made it his passion to assist clients in finding solutions to help them grow.

As a seasoned professional with 10 years of experience in lending, primarily in mortgages, with one of Canada’s large 5 banks, Allan has been a champion in bridging and finding the right solution for the client and the financial institutions.

Allan's diverse professional background, blended with his honest customer service approach, has allowed him to build strong relationships in the industry with trusted service.
